Joetown Classic 5K

The Joetown Classic 5K, organized by the Office of Advancement and Hillcrest Academy Alumni Association, invites runners to participate in a scenic race on Saturday, October 17th, 2026. This event is part of the vibrant Homecoming & Alumni Family Weekend at Hillcrest Academy.
Participants will gather early for check-in and packet pick-up starting at 9:30 AM. The run/walk begins promptly at 10:00 AM, offering a course that winds through picturesque neighborhoods and historic landmarks around Joetown. With its combination of flat stretches and gentle inclines, the route is designed to be accessible for both competitive runners and casual walkers.
The race day atmosphere promises excitement with enthusiastic supporters lining the streets, creating an energetic backdrop as participants make their way along the scenic course. The event aims to foster a sense of community among alumni, current students, faculty members, and local residents alike.
Proceeds from the Joetown Classic 5K will directly support Hillcrest Academy's educational initiatives by covering classroom costs that extend beyond the regular budget.
