About the Event

Join us for the 50th edition of the Jan Koudstaal Dijkloop - Half Marathon on October 17, 2026, in Schoonhoven! This picturesque race takes runners along the dike and through the beautiful uiterwaarden (floodplains) alongside the Lek River. Online registration is open until one hour before the start of the event.
Members of Atletiekvereniging Avantri can enjoy a 50% discount on entry fees by providing their Athlete Union license number at checkout. Participants have several distance options to choose from:
- 1,500m Kidsrun (€5)
- 6km Loop (€12)
- 10km Loop (€15)
- Half Marathon (21.1km) (€20)
The event starts and finishes at the Atletiekvereniging Avantri, located on Nieuwe Singel 25 in Schoonhoven, where participants can also collect their race numbers.
All runners will receive a memorable keepsake, while kids running the shorter distances will earn a medal. The organizers ensure that traffic disruptions are minimized to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
