Known as the oldest 100K in the United States and the oldest ultramarathon in Connecticut, this event carries a deep historical legacy within the North American running community. The USATF-sanctioned course consists of paved, rolling loops around Lake Waramaug, a setting renowned for its scenic beauty and high potential for personal records. Participants can compete in 100K, 50-mile, or 50K distances, with the state park serving as the central hub for the start, finish, and primary logistical support.
