J-Town Jog 5K and Youth Mile

Get ready to rumble at the J-Town Jog 5K and Mile on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, an annual family-friendly event to kick off Johnstown Barbeque Day! Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities will enjoy the 5K and 1 Mile routes located at Johnstown Reservoir, offering a fun, scenic, and relaxing venue for participants.  While the course has moved from the historic downtown parade route, you can still count on energetic support from the community and a festive environment throughout the event! After the races, join the community for post-run festivities including music, food, and entertainment for the whole family.  Celebrate your achievements with delicious food from local vendors and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow participants. Whether you're aiming for a podium finish or just looking for a fun outdoor activity, this event is one you will not want to miss. Register before May 16th to receive a commemorative t-shirt and create lasting memories!

Family & Group Discount Available!  Sign-up as a family or group and receive $2.50 off each registration. 

Important:  Online registration is open and will close on Saturday, June 6th, 2026 at 7:15 AM (MST).  In-Person registration will also be available on Friday, June 5th, 2026 from 5:00 - 7:30 PM (MST) or on Saturday, June 6th, 2026 from 6:15 - 7:15 AM (MST) at the Johnstown Reservoir in the pavilion located at the the north end of the park (just east of the intersection at Rocksbury Lane & Alabaster Way in Johnstown, CO 80534).
