IV 10K Ciudad de Mérida

On November 8, 2026, the IV 10K Ciudad de Mérida race will take place in the historic city of Mérida. Organized by Grupo Km0 with support from the Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Mérida, this event promises a scenic and challenging course for runners.
The race starts at 10:30 AM on Félix Valverde Lillo Street, where participants will be greeted by the warm atmosphere of Mérida’s locals and visitors alike. The route winds through the heart of the city, offering glimpses of Roman ruins and modern architecture that blend seamlessly into the urban landscape.
Runners can expect a flat course with minimal elevation changes, making it ideal for both competitive athletes looking to set personal records and recreational runners enjoying the sights. As you run along Félix Valverde Lillo Street, you’ll pass by landmarks such as the Roman Bridge of Alcántara and the National Museum of Roman Art.
The race finishes back at the starting line on Félix Valverde Lillo Street where family and friends will cheer for participants crossing the finish line. This event not only celebrates running but also supports FEAFES, a local organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with mental health conditions through community engagement and awareness campaigns.
