About the Event

The Kigali International Peace Marathon is a major international running event scheduled for Sunday, June 14, 2026, in Rwanda's capital. This will be the 21st edition of the marathon, which starts and finishes at the Amahoro Stadium. It features AIMS-certified courses for a full marathon, a half marathon, and a 10km fun run for peace. The event is organized by the Rwanda Athletics Federation and the Ministry of Sports to promote peace and sports in the region. It attracts both elite international athletes and local runners for a day of competition and community.
