Set in the scenic coastal town of Hossegor in the Landes department of France, the race challenges participants to complete a 6.7 km loop every hour, on the hour, until only one runner remains. The event is hosted at the iconic Jaï-Alaï d’Hossegor, which serves as the race headquarters and athlete rest zone.

The "Infinity Trail" concept focuses on personal limits rather than a fixed distance; whether a runner targets a marathon distance (approx. 6 loops) or 100+ miles, the race only ends when the "Last One Standing" completes a solo final loop. The course is almost entirely flat, circumnavigating Lake Hossegor, a landscape that shifts visually with the Atlantic tides. For support, a full solid catering service (including pasta, rice, and broth) is opened every 3 hours. In an effort to minimize waste, the event does not provide bottled sodas or sparkling water, utilizing only potable tap water for hydration.
