About the Event

Infinitus 2026, hosted by The Endurance Society, is a premier ultra-endurance event held in the Green Mountain National Forest. Taking place from May 21 to May 30, 2026, the festival offers an extraordinary range of distances, from a 9-mile trail run to the grueling 888k (551 miles). The event is centered at Silver Towers in Ripton, Vermont, a venue that also serves as a residential camp for people with disabilities. The multi-day format allows for a unique community atmosphere, with staggered start times for the various ultra-distances and shorter trail races.

Participants are encouraged to stay on-site to fully immerse themselves in the experience. Silver Towers provides dorm-style lodging and camping facilities, and donations to the facility are welcomed at checkout to support their mission for individuals with physical and mental challenges.

Logistics and Participant Information:

-- Dorm Lodging: Available for long-distance participants (888K, Deca, 250M, Penta) at rates ranging from $75 to $150 depending on the duration. Each dorm includes bathrooms, showers, and individual beds.
-- Camping: On-site camping is available for $12 per person for the duration of the event. Participants can choose to camp in fields near the road or more secluded areas behind the educational center.
-- Parking: Parking is managed by volunteers. For the first eight days, space is flexible, but once the 100-mile race begins on Friday, strict adherence to parking zones on the east side of the road and near the pool is required.
-- Course Environment: The terrain is rugged and scenic, winding through the Green Mountain National Forest. Detailed topographical and course maps are provided to help participants navigate the technical trails.
-- Registration Deadline: Online registration closes on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET.
-- Community Support: Silver Towers features a dining hall, recreation center, and outdoor pool, creating a comprehensive "base camp" for athletes and their support crews.

Infinitus is celebrated for its difficulty and the grit required to complete the higher-mileage events, making it a bucket-list destination for the international ultra-running community.
