IMW Night Run - Jesus o nosso natal 3ª edição

Join the Wesleyan Methodist Church of Morro Beach for the third edition of their annual IMW NIGHT RUN on December 19, 2026. This scenic race offers runners and walkers an opportunity to enjoy a flat course along the picturesque shores of Praia do Morro and Praia da Cerca in Guarapari. The event features a competitive 5K run and a family-friendly 2.5K walk, with special activities for kids.
The evening kicks off at 17:30 with musical performances and a Christmas cantata, setting the festive tone for the night. At 18:30, children's races begin, followed by the main event starting at 19:30 when participants set out on their runs or walks along the sandy beachfront.
Post-race festivities include food stalls offering snacks and drinks from 20:00 onwards, creating a lively atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. The night concludes with an awards ceremony and prize draw at 21:00, where top finishers in both genders receive trophies, as well as age group winners.
Participants will also have the chance to compete for the Cidade Saúde Trophy through a special partnership between IMW Night Run and Corrida dos Corredores de Guarapari. This unique award recognizes the most accomplished runners across 5K and 10K races in Guarapari.
All registered participants receive a race kit including an eco-bag, t-shirt, bib number, and finisher medal. The event encourages community engagement through a charity initiative: bring one kilogram of food to collect your race packet as part of the church's solidarity efforts this holiday season.
This year’s IMW NIGHT RUN promises not only athletic competition but also an engaging social experience for runners and their families alike, all while supporting local causes.
