About the Event
The II Corrida de Vicente de Carvalho and the Guarujá Public Servant Race is an inclusive sports event organized by the Guarujá Municipal Government's Education Department, with support from local authorities. Held annually on November 1st, this year’s race takes place in Praça 14 Bis, a picturesque location in the heart of Vicente de Carvalho, Guarujá/SP. The event features both a 3 km walk and a challenging 7 km run through scenic coastal pathways and bustling city streets. Participants will start at 7 AM sharp, with conditions ranging from sunny to overcast but always welcoming runners regardless of weather. The race course offers varied terrain including smooth asphalt stretches that wind around the Guarujá shoreline, providing breathtaking views of the ocean throughout much of the route. Registration fees are available until October 25th: a complete kit costing R$110 (including tax) and an economical option at R$75 (also with tax). Runners aged over 60 receive a generous 20% discount on full kits, ensuring access for all age groups. The race kit includes a commemorative t-shirt, backpack, bib number, timing chip, and finisher medal awarded only to those who cross the line within the two-hour time limit. For participants seeking an early exit from the event due to unforeseen circumstances, refunds are possible within seven days of purchase according to consumer protection laws. This race is not just a competition but also a celebration of community spirit and public service in Guarujá.
