Kick off your Thanksgiving morning with one of Huntington, West Virginia’s favorite holiday traditions: the 19th Annual Huntington Turkey Trot at Ritter Park! Open to seasoned runners, a casual walkers, or anyone just looking for some festive fun before the big meal, this 5K fun run/walk is the perfect way to celebrate the season. Bring your kids, your dogs, your strollers! This is fun for the whole family all to benefit Little Victories Animal Rescue Group.
Be part of the tradition! For nearly two decades, the Huntington Turkey Trot has been a Thanksgiving staple, bringing families, friends, and neighbors together to create memories, burn some pre-bird calories, and give back to the community.
Don’t miss your chance to lace up, trot with your flock, and help animals in need this Thanksgiving!
Proceeds from the Huntington Turkey Trot benefit Little Victories Animal Rescue, a lifesaving, no-kill shelter and sanctuary for dogs and cats in Ona, West Virginia.
Little Victories cares for more than 55 dogs and 35 cats at a time, providing:

We will also be collecting donations of much-needed items during packet pickup and on race day.
