Hungry Lion Bike Tour

About the Event

Experience the vibrant colors of Vermont's fall foliage during the Hungry Lion Bike Tour, celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. Explore peaceful backroads far from bustling towns and enjoy a journey that promises to be one of New England’s finest cycling events.
The tour offers cyclists multiple routes available on hungrylionbiketour.com (subject to changes due to roadwork). For those unable to join in person, virtual participation is also an option. If you prefer the ground under your feet over two wheels, consider joining as a walker or hiker—every participant contributes to a memorable experience.
Highlights include miles of quiet roads that showcase Vermont's natural beauty and charming landscapes. Upon completing your ride, gather at beautiful Town Hill for an after-party with live music, delicious food, and refreshing drinks, offering breathtaking views of the Green Mountains.
For those looking to earn a special Hungry Lion Bike Tour pro cycling jersey, two options are available: pay $100 upon registration or raise a minimum of $300 in sponsorship donations by event day. This year’s unique design features original artwork from a local Vermont artist and will be a prized collector's item. Register online starting July 1, 2026, for the best current rate; prices increase as the event approaches.
Participants are encouraged to print directions to Town Hill before departure, found on www.hungrylionbiketour.com. For same-day registration, arrive at least 45 minutes early or 30 minutes if you have registered in advance. If paying by check, ensure it is made payable to the Deerfield Valley VT Lions Foundation.
Remember to bring your water bottle and helmet; refreshments and rest stops will be provided along the way. Join us for a day of cycling that supports hunger-fighting efforts in southern Vermont—let's make this event a success together!
