Huebner Elementary PTA Fiesta 5k and 1k Fun Run at Eisenhower Park

Viva Fiesta! Join us for our 11th Annual Fiesta 5k & Fun Run to benefit Huebner Elementary PTA!  This is a family-friendly and dog-friendly community-wide event, with the goal of raising money for Huebner Elementary PTA, a proud NEISD school.  We invite runners and walkers of all ages to make this event a success!  Our PTA provides many important programs for Huebner Elementary School, including staff appreciation, funding for improved safety, field trips every year for all students, campus improvements, Art in the Cafeteria, Red Ribbon Week, and much more!  By signing up for this race, you are supporting our public school and the students, teachers, and staff that make up our community!

WHEN: Saturday, May 2, 2026 ----  Race Day Registration at 7:00 AM   -----  Performances at 7:30 AM -----  1k starts at 8:00 AM -----   5k starts at 8:30 AM

You must register by March 31th to receive "Early Bird" pricing, and to be guaranteed an awesome dri-fit t-shirt.

CAN'T JOIN US ON RACE DAY? THAT'S OKAY!

Sign up for a Siesta (Sleep-in) and you'll get a cool shirt, but don't have to do all that running (or walking).  See below for when and where you can pick up your packet!

You're a good person. Help us give an official Fiesta 5k shirt to a student who is not able to afford the race registration fee. With a $20.00 donation, a special Huebner Husky will receive an official 2026 Fiesta 5k shirt that he or she can wear with their class. In the words of our grateful students, "Thanks, bruh."

PACKET PICKUP

All Huebner families will receive their packets through backpack mail by Wednesday, April 29, 2025.  

Community members can pick up their packets at the following times:

Thursday, April 30th --- 9AM to 11AM --- at Huebner Elementary School (16311 Huebner Road)

Saturday, May 2nd --- 7AM --- at Eisenhower Park (19399 NW Military Hwy)

COURSE AND TIMING INFO

The Fiesta 5k will be a chip-timed event, using a "cross-country" or gun-time start. This course is an off-road, all-terrain course, with a few hills.  Be prepared for the course, especially if you are considering bringing a pet or stroller.  See the Course Map below.
