Donovan Hines Race Against Gun Violence 5K & Community Walk Join the Donovan Hines Foundation of Exuberance Co. for the annual Race Against Gun Violence 5K & Community Walk, a community event dedicated to honoring lives lost to gun violence, supporting survivors and families, and promoting healing, hope, and violence prevention throughout Milwaukee. Whether you are an experienced runner, a casual walker, a survivor, an advocate, or a community supporter, your participation helps make a difference. Proceeds from this event support grief support services, youth development programs, food security initiatives, mental health awareness, trauma healing programs, and violence prevention efforts provided by the Donovan Hines Foundation. Participants may choose to run the timed 5K or join the untimed community walk. The event will feature community resources, family-friendly activities, survivor recognition, music, refreshments, and opportunities to connect with organizations working to create safer and healthier neighborhoods. Together, we can honor those we have lost, support those who are healing, and work toward a future free from violence. Every Mile Matters. Every Life Counts.
