Holy Family SVdP Friends of the Poor Walk 2026

Join Holy Family's St. Vincent de Paul conference for the Friends of the Poor Walk on Saturday, October 24, 2026. This annual event is more than just a walk; it’s an opportunity to raise funds and build community spirit while supporting those in need within our neighborhood.
Participants can choose from various ways to contribute—whether as individual fundraisers or part of a team—and each participant will have their own web page to collect sponsorships from family, friends, and supporters. Last year alone, volunteers dedicated over 9,000 hours to serving the poor through food deliveries, rent assistance, and utility payments.
Registration includes a T-shirt for a $10 donation (to cover costs), but supplies are limited, so early arrival is recommended to secure one of these special keepsakes. The walk begins at Holy Family Church on Cheyenne Street, heading towards Northwest Park where participants will enjoy a leisurely stroll or jog around the serene pond.
This year’s event promises an uplifting atmosphere with opportunities for all ages—kids can bring their scooters and bikes along as they join in the fun.
