Holland ISD's Turkey Trot

The Holland ISD Turkey Trot is set to take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Holland City Park, located at 105 Park Road in Holland, Texas. Situated just south of Temple along Highway 95, this race offers runners a scenic and welcoming environment for the annual event.
Registration will open early with packet pickup from 6:00 am to 7:15 am on race day, allowing participants ample time to prepare before the start at 7:30 am. Early bird registration costs $25, while those who register on race day pay a slightly higher fee of $30.
The Turkey Trot features chip timing and provides runners with water and fruit along the route for hydration and energy boosts. The course is an out-and-back format that begins near the playground in Holland City Park. It then heads south to Travis Street, continuing eastward before returning back to the park's starting point. With mostly flat terrain on paved roads, this race offers a smooth running experience suitable for all levels of runners.
Participants can look forward to receiving medals as part of their recognition—overall male and female winners will be awarded first place medals, while 1st through 3rd in each age group (9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, etc., up to 80+ years) will also receive accolades. Awards ceremonies commence after results are compiled and take place near the playground within City Park.
Run Texas Timing Services ensures accurate race timing with a kiosk for individual printed results as well as live scrolling results displayed on monitors at the venue. Detailed race results can be accessed online via www.runtexastimingservices.com following the event.
