❤️ About City Challenge Athletics — Giving Back Since 2017

The Hoboken Kids Run & Family Fun Day is proudly organized by City Challenge Athletics, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2017, dedicated to making health, fitness, and physical activity accessible to children and families throughout our communities.

Led by Founder and President Elvi Guzman, a longtime Hudson County resident, entrepreneur, and community advocate, City Challenge Athletics was established with a simple belief: Every child deserves the opportunity to be active, build confidence, and experience the joy of sports, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Elvi has been organizing running events and obstacle races throughout New Jersey since 2013, bringing thousands of participants together while supporting local charities and community initiatives. His passion for youth fitness and giving back inspired the creation of City Challenge Athletics, which has organized youth obstacle races, fun runs, and fitness programs throughout Hudson County and beyond.

Our mission is simple: to inspire healthier lifestyles, encourage physical activity, build confidence, and create opportunities for children of all backgrounds and abilities.

That's why we're proud to offer the Hoboken Kids Run & Family Fun Day completely FREE of charge, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to experience the excitement of crossing a finish line and earning a medal!

Every Kid Deserves a Starting Line!
