About the Event
Eager trail runners are invited back to Thetford Forest's High Lodge on April 11, 2027, for another thrilling edition of the Wild Deer Trail Runs. Situated between Cambridge and Norwich, this woodland setting offers a unique blend of scenic beauty and challenging terrain. Participants can choose from three distances: a family-friendly 5km route suitable for anyone over 11 years old, a more demanding 10km option open to runners aged 15 and up, or the new addition—a half marathon designed for those 17 and older. Each race is chip-timed and fully supported, making it perfect whether you're a first-time runner seeking an enjoyable experience or a seasoned trail enthusiast looking for a spirited adventure. Upon crossing the finish line, all participants will receive a commemorative medal, exclusive Wild Deer merchandise, as well as snacks and refreshments to fuel your post-race celebration. Join us in Thetford Forest this spring for what promises to be another unforgettable year of running through nature's splendor at High Lodge.
