Herefordshire & Borders Winter XC League 2026-2027

The Herefordshire & Borders Winter Cross-Country League 2026/27 is set to kick off on Sunday, October 4th, at Abbeydore (Hay Hotfooters), marking the beginning of an exhilarating series for cross-country runners. This league promises a challenging and scenic journey through some of Herefordshire's most picturesque landscapes.
The first race will take place in the quaint village of Abbeydore, offering participants a thrilling start to their winter running season on its hilly terrain. The route is designed under UKA rules and licensed by the TRA, ensuring a fair and competitive environment for all runners aged 16 years or older from eligible clubs.
Registration details are straightforward: after signing up, bib numbers will be allocated via RSG (Ready Set Go Timing), to be collected at race day by your club captain. Additionally, ankle timing chips must be picked up before the start time of 10:30 am sharp. These essential items should not only be returned promptly after each race but also kept safe for subsequent events in the series.
Participants are reminded that if they have already registered for any part of this league at a previous point, there's no need to re-register.
