Hedianga Monster Trail Run/Walk - 8 November 2026

Set against the rugged trails of Hedianga Farm Trails near Pretoria, the Monster Trail Run/Walk offers runners and walkers an exhilarating challenge through diverse terrain. Participants can choose from four distances: 2km, 5km, 10km, or 15km, each with its own level of difficulty and elevation gain.
The shorter routes provide a taste of what awaits on the longer courses. The 5km route is relatively manageable but still offers some technical sections for those looking to test their skills without too much strain. For more seasoned trail enthusiasts, the 10km course presents steep climbs and descents with an impressive total elevation gain of around 290 meters.
The true challenge lies in the 15km distance, which is recommended only for experienced runners or walkers due to its demanding terrain and significant elevation changes totaling approximately 360 meters. The final kilometers are particularly grueling, making it a test of both physical endurance and mental fortitude.
Registration opens at 6:00 AM on race day, with the first group starting promptly at 6:30 AM. Participants can still register until 8:00 AM for shorter distances but must adhere to earlier start times if opting for longer routes. All participants are required to finish by 10:00 AM.
