About the Event

This relaxed run around the Imperial Palace in Chiyoda is open to everyone from beginners to serious runners, with no pressure. Drop-in entry on the day is welcome and slightly late arrivals are fine. Distances range from one lap (about 5K) to four laps (about 20K), plus a 20K relay of four runners covering four laps each, and runners may change distance mid-run, shortening it if they want to ease off or extending it if they feel good. The organizers ask only one thing: do not give up and take the train home from Takebashi. The start is near the clock tower inside Sakuradamon.
