About the Event

A relaxed, drop-in running session on the loop around the Imperial Palace, starting near the clock tower inside Sakuradamon in Chiyoda. Runners can pick one lap (about 5 km), two laps (about 10 km) or four laps (about 20 km), or join a 20 km relay in which teams run 4 x 4 laps.
The organizers describe the pace as extremely laid-back and welcome all ages and abilities, from first-timers to serious runners. Walk-ins are accepted on the day and slightly late arrivals are fine. The distance can be changed mid-run, shortening it if you are struggling or adding laps if you feel strong, though quitting and taking the train home from Takebashi is the one thing they ask you not to do.
