More on HS: Hidradenitis Suppurativa is a debilitating, chronic inflammatory condition. HS presents as boil-like abscesses that can occur anywhere on the body where there are hair follicles. HS has a huge impact on our quality of life physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, and financially. There is no cure for HS and treatments aim to control disease severity and help reduce symptoms. HS can go undiagnosed/misdiagnosed for many years, is rarely talked about and can be debilitating and isolating.
