Harbour Wallbanger

In September 2026, the Harbour Wallbanger returns with its unique and scenic route along the coast of Kent. Organized once again by Thanet Roadrunners AC, this race starts at low tide on Broadstairs Beach and follows a breathtaking path all the way to Ramsgate’s historic harbour wall before heading back to sunny Broadstairs.
Participants can look forward to an unforgettable running experience with stunning views of the coastline, making it perfect for both beginners and seasoned runners. The event is known for its friendly atmosphere, encouraging participants to bring their friends and family along to enjoy the day together.
For those interested in competing as a team, there’s also a male and female team prize available – all you need are three members to form your squad. Whether it's an official club or just a group of running buddies, anyone can join in the fun.
The race offers several prizes for individual runners: first, second, and third place awards for both males and females, as well as age-group winners (VET40, VET50, and VET60). Team categories also provide incentives to compete alongside your teammates.
On-site facilities include toilets but no changing rooms. There’s a car park available nearby with local fees applicable. Refreshments will be provided for participants and spectators alike.
Entry costs are £24 for affiliated club members and £26 for unaffiliated runners when booked in advance, while on-the-day entries cost £30 (if space permits). Advanced entry is open until 1pm the Wednesday before the event; day-of registration may also be possible up to 11:30am.
