Halloween Howl and Growl 2026

Tír Chonaill GAP Cycling Club invites you to join the Halloween Howl and Growl MTB and Gravel Event on Sunday, November 1, 2026. Sign-in begins at McCafferty's Bar in Lettermacaward at 9:00 AM, with a rollout time of 10:00 AM sharp. The event features fully marshalled off-road routes through rugged bog trails and rough terrain, offering spectacular scenic views throughout.
Participants can choose between two challenging courses—50km or 75km—that merge for the first 40 kilometers before diverging into a shorter 10km option or an extended 35km leg. Both routes are designed to test your skills on mud, gravel, and unavoidable stretches of tarmac.
This year's event retains all the exciting elements from previous years while adding new twists that promise even more adventure. Experience the thrill of riding through Ireland’s stunning countryside, where nature meets technical terrain in a way that only seasoned riders can appreciate. Hot refreshments will be available at McCafferty's Bar following the ride to help you warm up and share stories with fellow cyclists.
Registration is now open online, or payments can be made on race day. Stay tuned for updates here as we finalize all details leading up to November 1st. See you there!
