Haldon Night

Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Haldon Night 10K and 5K as you navigate through illuminated trails under the starlit sky. This year's edition promises an unforgettable experience with added excitement for young runners, featuring two kids races at 5:30 PM. The 1K race is designed for children aged 3 to 8 years old, while the 2K event caters to those between 8 and 11.
Parents are welcome to join their little ones in either distance without any additional fee, ensuring a safe and enjoyable run together. For older kids who wish to challenge themselves further, we've introduced an exception for children aged 8 and above to participate in the 5K race, provided they remain accompanied by an adult throughout the course.
To ensure visibility on the dark trails, all participants are required to bring either a head torch or chest light. A new addition this year is the Canicross 10K event, offering runners the chance to experience Haldon's terrain with their canine companions.
The race entry guarantees top-notch amenities and support, including professional RFID chip timing for accurate results, fully marked and marshalled routes ensuring a clear path forward, and stunning finisher medals that celebrate your achievement. Prizes are awarded to podium winners in various categories, adding an extra layer of excitement as you push towards the finish line.
Throughout the event, water stations will be strategically placed along both courses, providing runners with hydration support at key points. Event facilities including toilets are readily available for participants' convenience and comfort. The race also features fully trained medical personnel on standby to ensure safety throughout the night.
