The race offers three distinct categories tailored to different levels and interests: - Immortal Run (13.14 km): A scenic course designed for experienced runners who wish to immerse themselves in the beauty of Hai Ning's landscapes while honoring the spirit of Jin Yong’s literary world.
- Hero Couple Run (5.20 km): This shorter route is perfect for those looking to explore together, with a focus on enjoying the local scenery and participating as a team. - Lover's Run (5.20 km): A special 5.20 km run dedicated exclusively to couples who wish to celebrate their love in an intimate setting inspired by Jin Yong’s romantic tales. The event will welcome up to 2,500 participants, with the Immortal Run accommodating 2,000 runners and both Hero Couple and Lover's runs each featuring 100 entrants. Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis until full capacity is reached. This year’s theme draws inspiration from Jin Yong’s novel The Smiling, Proud Wanderer ("笑书神侠倚碧鸳"), with the keyword "连" (continuity) symbolizing ongoing connections within the world of martial arts and romance.
