RegisterJoin us for the eighth annual 5K/1K run/walk along the beautiful Brandywine River through Hagley Museum's 235 acres. Proceeds from the run support Hagley's field trip fund for area schools. The previous events collectively raised enough money for over 2600 students to visit Hagley. Thank you for providing this opportunity to so many young people! In 2025, we will be "Chasing the Sun," inspiring the young and young-at-heart to chase their goals. Come to the 5K/1K dressed in shades of red, yellow, and orange; or your favorite sun costume. For more information about Hagley visit www.hagley.org.
This year's event will feature the 5K starting at 8:30am followed by the 1K Fun Run at 9:00am. There is not an age requirement for either event.
Corporate and community teams are encouraged. Click on the tabs above to either create or join a team!

These values represent the 3-year monthly averages for April in Wilmington.
Wilmington is the largest city in Delaware, though still small by U.S. standards with a population of only 70,000. Due to the state's business-friendly laws, Wilmington is something of a center for businesses, with an incredible number of American corporations incorporated in the city. There are also some celebrities from there, like NFL Hall of Famer Randy White, and US President Joe Biden.
