About the Event

It's time for the 14th Annual Habitat Hustle 5K Run/Walk! This event benefits UF Habitat for Humanity. Wear your favorite running or walking gear and come out on Saturday, October 17th, 2026 for a community-wide event with UF Habitat! THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC OF ALL AGES!

The start and finish line are at Boulware Springs Park in Gainesville, and the run takes place along Gainesville's scenic Hawthorne Trail. The race will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. with a suggested arrival/ check-in time of 8:30 a.m.

Runners can enjoy post-race treats and raffle prizes from local businesses upon crossing the finish line. The top three male and female racers will be awarded! All proceeds benefit UF Habitat for Humanity in supporting their mission to provide safe, affordable housing to deserving families in Alachua County through home builds and critical home repairs.

Registration includes: T-shirt *, race bib, raffle ticket, and post-race treats! Extra raffle tickets may be purchased for $1 per ticket at the event.

2026 Race T-shirts are guaranteed with a sign up before Friday, October 2, 2026. After that date, 2026 raceT-shirts will be given on a first come first serve basis with everyone else receiving 2025 race T-shirts.

Children 5 years old and under run for FREE! No need to register them.
