Gsundhaus-Crosslauf Nußdorf am Haunsberg

On October 31, 2026, the picturesque town of Nußdorf on the slopes of the Haunsberg will host the Open Nussdorfer Crosslauf. This annual race is more than just an athletic competition; it's a celebration of endurance and community spirit in one of Austria’s most scenic locations.
The event kicks off at 9:45 AM from the MSC Schlößl Weitwörth, situated near Nußdorf on the Stock-Car Gelände. Participants will traverse a challenging yet rewarding course that loops around for two kilometers over varied terrain. The route is designed to be accessible even with spiked shoes, accommodating runners in all weather conditions.
Organized by Skiclub/Lauftreff Nussdorf, this event attracts athletes of all ages and abilities from across the region and beyond. For those looking to compete at a higher level, the Salzburg State Championship in Cross Country Running will also take place on this day. The championship is open to runners aged U14 and above, with special consideration for participants born in 2015 who are eligible to race both as part of the U12 category and in the LM U14.
Entry fees vary depending on age group: €8 for children and youth up to U20, €15 for adults, and €24 per team. Registration closes on October 26th at midnight. Late entries are possible until one hour before each race start time but will incur an additional fee of €5.
Amenities such as changing facilities are available on-site near the Stock-Car Gelände to ensure a comfortable experience for all participants and spectators alike. The day culminates with prize-giving ceremonies around 12:30 PM, where winners from both the open race and state championships will receive their well-deserved recognition.
