Greater Capital Region Track, Field, and Cross Country Hall of Fame Induction Banquet

Celebrate the Eighth Annual Induction Banquet, an evening dedicated to honoring ten of the most distinguished athletes from the Capital Region's track and field as well as cross country communities. This prestigious event offers a unique opportunity for both seasoned competitors and fans alike to reconnect with old friends in a warm and memorable setting.
The banquet will take place at The Marriott Hotel located at 189 Wolf Road, Albany, NY 12205 on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Attendees are encouraged to register by Tuesday, September 29, at 6:00 pm to secure their spots.
The evening begins with a cocktail hour from 4:15 pm to 6:00 pm where guests can enjoy an array of drinks and mingle in the hotel's elegant atmosphere. Following this is dinner and the formal program starting promptly at 6:00 pm, featuring inspiring speeches and accolades for the newly inducted members.
The menu offers a choice between four exquisite dishes:
- Grilled Chicken Breast with bruschetta and a lemon cream & balsamic drizzle (Gluten Free)
- Flank Steak Topped with caramelized onions
- Parmesan Crusted Haddock with Lemon Butter (Vegetarian)
- Eggplant Napoleon layered with tomatoes, ricotta, spinach, and finished off with fresh tomato sauce, roasted red pepper, and a balsamic reduction
Each dinner choice is accompanied by mixed baby field green salad, rolls, coffee, tea, and raspberry swirl cheesecake.
This year, the Greater Capital Region Track, Field, and Cross Country Hall of Fame will cover all processing fees for online registrations. Attendees can also apply coupon codes at final checkout to further reduce their costs.
