About the Event

Join thousands in celebrating more than two decades of Ottawa’s cherished Cookie Run, an annual provincial fundraiser that has been supporting Girl Guide campership subsidies across Ontario. Lace up your running shoes and head to scenic Lansdowne Park for this family-friendly 5K event accompanied by a kids' 1K dash. The race is not only about speed but also about coming together as one community while raising funds for an important cause. Participants will enjoy the vibrant atmosphere with baked goodies and refreshments, creating memorable moments along the well-marked course within Lansdowne Park’s lush surroundings.
Participants of all ages are welcome to take part in this heartwarming event that brings people from across Ontario together to support local Girl Guides as they pursue their outdoor adventures. Whether you’re a competitive runner or there simply for fun, everyone is invited to experience the joy and camaraderie at one of Ottawa’s longest-running community races.
Enjoy baked treats from various bakers after crossing the finish line while connecting with fellow runners in this festive setting designed not just as an athletic challenge but also as a celebration of friendship and fundraising success.
