Located at the heart of Prescott’s granite landscape, the race starts from the Almosta Ranch Road area and winds through the scenic trails surrounding Granite Mountain. Runners will encounter rocky climbs and fast descents over pristine singletrack paths surrounded by towering boulders and juniper-studded landscapes. Established in 2026 as an inaugural event limited to just 100 participants, the Granite Mountain Grind aims to provide a high-quality trail-running experience that respects both nature and competitors' hard work. Bib pickup takes place on September 24th and 25th at the Granite Mountain Grind Race Headquarters located in downtown Prescott, AZ from 10am-6pm each day. Participants must bring a government-issued photo ID for confirmation purposes only.
The race starts promptly at 7:30 AM from 5700 W Almosta Ranch Rd, Prescott, AZ 86305 with participants required to be over the age of eighteen due to technical nature and distance requirements. Runners are advised to arrive early on race day for packet pickup if not pre-registered.
