Glorious Gargrave

Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Yorkshire Dales, this race offers runners a unique opportunity to explore the tranquil Leeds & Liverpool canal towpath near Gargrave, North Yorkshire. The course spans four distances—5k, 10k, half marathon, and full marathon—providing options for both casual joggers and seasoned athletes.
The route follows a flat "out and back" path along the serene waters of the canal, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The entire route is clearly marked and marshalled, ensuring a safe and well-managed experience from start to finish. Each participant will receive a bespoke medal upon crossing the finish line, along with sweets and other treats as an extra treat for all runners who complete their chosen distance within the 6.5-hour cut-off time.
This event celebrates not just athletic achievement but also the beauty of Yorkshire's natural landscapes, making it a memorable experience for anyone looking to immerse themselves in both running and nature.
