The Global Limits São Tomé - The Hemisphere Crossing is a multi-stage, self-supported ultramarathon scheduled for February 13-21, 2026. This unique six-stage race takes place on the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe in the Gulf of Guinea, a nation known for its lush jungles and unspoiled beaches. Participants can choose between a 200km or a 130km course, both of which traverse cocoa and coffee plantations and pass iconic landmarks like the Pico Cão Grande. The race is a true expedition, with competitors camping on idyllic beaches and experiencing the archipelago's rich history. It culminates in a highly symbolic finish at the Equator line, where the zero-degree latitude and longitude meridians cross.
