Ghostly Gallop 5K and Kids Fun Run

Step into the 26th annual Ghostly Gallop 5K, a spirited race set against the backdrop of Hudson High School. This USAT&F certified and sanctioned course winds through the charming residential streets of Hudson, offering runners picturesque views and an engaging route.
The event kicks off on Saturday, October 25 from 11:00am to 3:00pm with bib pickup at a location yet to be determined. On race day, Sunday, October 26, registration and bib pickup will take place between 9:00am and 9:45am.
The fun begins early in the morning when kids aged 17 and under compete on a one-mile course that borders the Hudson Fireman's Home & Museum. This kid-friendly event is free for children ages 12 and under, encouraging young runners to enjoy their first race experience with friends and family.
At 9:30am sharp, participants of all ages are invited to join in the costume contest where creativity meets competition. Exciting prizes await those who bring a touch of Halloween spirit to the event.
The main attraction is the Ghostly Gallop 5K Run/Walk, which starts promptly at 10:30am. This race welcomes runners and walkers alike with free entry for all participants aged 17 and under. Each finisher will receive a commemorative medal, while top three finishers in seven age categories will be awarded special recognition.
Teams are welcome to join the fun, though scoring is based on the performance of the best four members from each team. Teams must have at least four runners to qualify for this competitive aspect and to contribute to the overall fundraising efforts.
Following registration, participants can set up a personal fundraising page through an email confirmation after signing up. The funds raised will support valuable programming initiatives at the Hudson Area Library for children, teens, and adults. Prizes are awarded to both individual fundraisers and teams that raise the most money during this event.
