Ride like a professional in one of the most stunning island destinations on earth at GFNY Cozumel 2026. Returning on Sunday, November 8, 2026, this world-class cycling event offers participants the unique opportunity to "Be a Pro for a Day" on the beautiful island of Cozumel, Mexico. Known globally for its vibrant coral reefs and crystal-clear turquoise waters, the island serves as a breathtaking backdrop for a race that challenges both amateur and professional cyclists with panoramic coastal views and the island's legendary, challenging winds.
Athletes can choose between two distinct routes: the Long Course (154 km), which consists of two full loops around the island, and the Medium Course (77 km), which circumvents the island once. While the Medium Course is a non-competitive tour for those looking to soak in the scenery, the Long Course is a fierce competition where the top 10% of finishers in each age group earn a coveted spot in the GFNY World Qualifier Corral. Every participant receives the official, NYC-designed race jersey and a finisher medal, contributing toward the prestigious GFNY multi-finisher medal series.
Beyond the main event, the weekend is a celebration of endurance sports for the whole family, featuring the GFNY Kids Cozumel on November 7. As a seasonal training home for professional athletes, Cozumel offers world-class infrastructure, boutique shopping, and exquisite local cuisine, making it the perfect "race-vacation" destination. Whether you are sprinting for a podium spot or riding to enjoy the mesmerising ocean views supported by thousands of cheering locals, GFNY Cozumel 2026 provides an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Mexican Caribbean.
