Runners will navigate the signature terrain of the region—minimal elevation but plenty of roots, mud, and natural surfaces—under a canopy of cypress and tupelo trees, with two well-stocked aid stations providing hot food, snacks, and Southern hospitality. The race offers generous cutoffs (35 hours for the 100-miler) and substantial swag, including finisher medals, a buckle for hundred-mile finishers, and jackets for those tackling the longest distance.
