The 13th Annual Gallatin Shamrock Run takes place in the heart of Historic Downtown Gallatin. The race begins at Gallatin City Hall and winds through beautiful downtown streets on a primarily flat course, making it ideal for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.
Participants may choose between a 5K or 10K. The 10K will run the 5K course twice and will have 90 minutes to complete the race. The 5K will be grouped by estimated completion time and must be completed within 60 minutes. All participants must complete the race by 9:00 AM.
Participants are encouraged to wear their most creative St. Patrick’s Day attire and enjoy the festivities at the start and finish areas. Prizes will be awarded to male and female finishers after the race. Awards for Best St. Patrick’s Day Costume and Most Team Spirit will be presented before the race.
About the Cause
Proceeds from the race benefit the Gallatin Chamber Foundation, the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce’s 501(c)(3) organization. The Foundation exists to encourage, promote, and support innovative enhancement projects and creative initiatives within the City of Gallatin.
