Fuda Jieyang Marathon 2026 (2026福达揭阳马拉松)

On November 29, 2026, the Fuda Jieyang Marathon will take place at 6:30 AM in Chaoqiao Village of Jieyang City, Guangdong Province. This annual race features a marathon distance (42.195 kilometers) and half-marathon (21.0975 kilometers), with a total field size of 10,000 runners. The event is known for its unique route that winds through the heart of Jieyang's ancient city district, offering participants an immersive journey through historical landmarks.
Runners will start at Chaoqiao Village and make their way past scenic spots such as Nanpu Fishing Songs and Zhuangyuan Archway before entering the century-old arcade buildings along Zhongshan Road. The course continues to wind its way around Jin Cheng Park, Jieyang Confucian Temple, and Ingen Gate Tower before reaching the finish line near Jieliang Pavilion.
This year's highlight is a first-time inclusion of key historical sites within the ancient city core, providing runners with an unparalleled opportunity to experience the rich cultural heritage of Jieyang. The route showcases not only stunning architecture but also brings alive scenes from the film "A Letter for Grandma," adding layers of cinematic charm and local warmth along the way.
To ensure a fair distribution among participants, those who exceed the registration limit will be selected through a lottery system. Pre-registration with payment is open from October 14 to October 31, with results announced in early November. Unsuccessful applicants will have their fees refunded via original payment method.
