Defy the winter chill and build consistent motivation with the 2026 Black Hills Runners Club Frozen Challenge, an eight-week virtual mileage challenge running from February 2 through March 29, 2026. This flexible event encourages runners to log miles at their own pace, whether indoors on a treadmill or outdoors on the scenic roads and trails of the Black Hills, with weekly reporting to a team for accountability and friendly competition. Free for club members and just $10 for non-members (with an option to join the club for only $5 more), the challenge culminates in a celebratory pizza party at Marco’s Pizza to reward all the hard-earned winter miles.

Secure your spot by the January 27 registration deadline to be placed on a team and choose from optional long-sleeve tech shirts or hoodies to commemorate your achievement.
