From Awareness to Action: Domestic Violence Awareness 5K Walk/Run is a community-wide movement bringing together survivors, families, advocates, community leaders, government agencies, businesses, and supporters to take a stand against domestic violence.

Hosted at Zoo Miami, this meaningful 5K experience transforms every step into an opportunity to educate, empower, remember, and inspire action.

Throughout the route, participants will encounter Steps of Awareness featuring domestic violence facts, warning signs, messages of hope, and information about available resources. Participants will walk or run in support of survivors, in remembrance of lives lost, and in commitment to building safer families and communities.

The experience will also feature a Resource & Empowerment Village, community partners, survivor-centered resources, a remembrance component, and a commemorative finisher medal for registered participants.

Whether you walk, run, create a team, support a survivor, fundraise, or simply stand with the community, your participation makes a difference.

Awareness is where change begins. Action is how we move forward.
