About the Event

Participate in the University of Minnesota Science and Engineering Student Board's annual 5K run on Saturday, November 22! Registration includes post-run hot chocolate, snacks and a long-sleeve athletic Freezin' for a Reason T-shirt.

This year's Freezin' for a Reason 5K is supporting Make-A-Wish, a charity that gives children with critical illnesses gifts to renew hope and strength, uniting neighbors, friends, families, and communities.

Race check-in will begin in Bruininks Hall, outside room 330, starting at 12:30 PM. At 1:00 PM, we'll learn about Make-A-Wish's impact. Participants will be expected to be ready at the start at 1:25 PM, and the race will begin at 1:30 PM. Post-event hot chocolate and snacks will be provided in Bruininks Hall, room 330 until the event concludes at 3:00 PM.

Early bird pricing ends November 15, after which the rate will increase from $12 to $16.
