Get ready for an unforgettable night of mountain biking at one of the most anticipated races of the year! This iconic race returns once again to offer participants an exhilarating evening under the stars. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, there's something here for every level.
Registration is open now but be sure not to miss your chance as on-site registration isn't available and spots tend to fill up quickly. The entry fee varies: $15 in advance and $20 if registering the day of the race; riders aged 17 or younger pay just $1 with an option for free entry during the kids' race.
The event features four distinct classes tailored to different skill levels:
- Beginner Class: A shorter, more manageable 20-minute sprint.
- Sport Class: For those looking to push their limits over a 40-minute course.
- Masters Class: Also spanning 40 minutes, designed for experienced riders who enjoy the challenge of longer distances.
- Advanced Class: The ultimate test with an hour-long race that will put your endurance and technical skills to the limit.
The fun doesn't stop at the finish line. Once you've crossed it, stick around for food, drinks, and plenty of post-race camaraderie well into the night. Race start times are scheduled as follows:
- 6:15 PM: Sport Class begins with a 2-lap race.
- 6:18 PM: Masters follow closely behind in their own 2-lap course.
- 7:00 PM: The Beginner and Advanced classes take the stage, starting off with one lap for beginners followed by four laps for advanced men and three for women plus fat bike riders.
Make sure to mark your calendars — all pre-registered participants will receive refunds if race day conditions necessitate cancellation. Remember that no cash or checks are accepted at this event; ensure you have alternative payment methods ready.
