We’re excited to welcome young runners ages 7–14, no matter their experience level. This session focuses on building endurance, improving form, and making running fun and rewarding for everyone.
Registration includes entry into a few exciting local races: Kids' Bloomin' Mile (May 1), Loudoun Street Mile (May 25), Glow All Out 5K (mid July) and $10 off the Sherando Youth Triathlon (early August). Throughout the season, we'll work on proper running technique, dynamic stretching, pacing strategies, and teamwork.
Runners should bring running shoes, water, and a healthy snack to stay fueled during practice.

Winchester is a town in the Shenandoah Valley. The town is a good base for exploring the rest of the valley and a picturesque historical site in its own right. It was the first colonial town in the Valley. It has a wonderful historic district with a nice pedestrian mall. The town is full of excellent restaurants, shops and museums. There is one very old inn downtown with a pineapple sign hanging on the porch, plus there is the restored George Washington Hotel.
