Formation Posturo

The French Cycling Federation is hosting an exclusive training program aimed at enhancing the ergonomics and performance of cyclists through postural studies. This comprehensive course, designed for both beginners and enthusiasts, focuses on optimizing cycling posture to prevent injuries and improve efficiency.
Participants will learn how to conduct a thorough assessment of a cyclist's body mechanics, including intrinsic characteristics such as anthropometric measurements and functional assessments. The program also includes detailed analysis of pedaling techniques using advanced biomechanical principles and practical sessions at the National Cycling Center in Trappes.
The training consists of two parts: an online e-learning module totaling 23 hours followed by a hands-on workshop over two days where attendees will apply their knowledge through real-world scenarios. The course is led by experts from the federation’s scientific committee, ensuring that participants receive validated and up-to-date methodologies based on current research.
Limited to just ten individuals per session, this inaugural training offers an introductory rate of 700 euros (with future sessions priced at 1400 euros). Attendees are required to bring their own cycling gear including a jersey, shorts, and shoes.
Registration details will be sent out one week prior to the event via email; spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information or assistance with registration, contact [email protected] or call 01.81.88.09.49.
