Formation Posturo

The French Cycling Federation presents an introductory course on posture studies tailored for cyclists, designed to enhance performance and prevent injuries through ergonomic optimization. This comprehensive training program covers the essential knowledge and skills needed to conduct thorough postural assessments.
Participants will learn how to diagnose a cyclist’s posture, evaluate intrinsic characteristics such as anthropometric measurements and functional traits, and perform kinematic analysis of pedaling techniques. The course also focuses on optimizing three key systems: foot-pedal interface, pelvis-saddle alignment, and hand-handlebar interaction.
The program is structured around scientifically validated methods and includes practical sessions using specialized tools for conducting posture studies. It caters to individuals looking to improve their cycling ergonomics without any prerequisites required.
Scheduled at the National Cycling Center in Trappes on December 3-4, 2026, this limited enrollment session (10 participants) offers early bird registration at a discounted rate of €700. Future sessions will cost €1400 per participant. Attendees must bring their own cycling gear and an electronic device for the e-learning portion.
