Floripa Marathon

The 15th Maratona de Floripa takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, starting at the Canteiro Central na Beira Mar Continental in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Organized for athletes seeking more than just a race, this event offers three distances (42 km, 21 km, and 5 km) across a flat, inspiring course with cool coastal temperatures, designed to respect every runner's pace and ambition.

Event Logistics and Participant Information:

• -- Bib Kit Pickup: Available at Aeroporto Internacional Hercílio Luz - Boulevard 14/32 (Rod. Acesso ao Aeroporto, nº 6.200 - Carianos) on June 5 (10:00–20:00) and June 6 (10:00–18:00). Third-party pickup requires a copy of the participant's ID and the registration confirmation.
• -- Bag Check: A bag storage area is available at the arena. Belongings are placed in a labeled plastic bag with your bib number. Retrieval requires presenting your bib number. Valuable items are not recommended.
• -- Start Corrals: Athletes are assigned to four pacing corrals based on recent race history (last 12 months): Quênia (under 4'50"/km), Azul (4'51"–5'50"/km), Verde (5'51"–6'50"/km), and Branco (above 6'50"/km). First-time O2 participants are placed according to their declared pace at registration.
• -- Timing Chip: Each bib comes with an attached timing chip. Do not fold, crease, or remove the chip. Net time is recorded from when the runner crosses the start gate to the finish gate.
• -- Finisher Items: Participants receive a race shirt, a cross-body bag, and a post-race medal.

• -- Support Infrastructure: The event features medical stations, mobile ICU units, hydration points, isotonic drink stations, gel stations, bathrooms, and a recovery area clearly marked along all courses.
• -- Elite Recognition: Prize money is awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 42 km distance based on gross time.
• -- Accessibility: Special registration categories are available for senior citizens, students, and persons with disabilities, with validation based on registration data.
• -- Community: The marathon is presented by HDI Seguros and supported by Colgate, Koch, Maurten, Powerade, and Veolia, with real-time updates shared across social media channels.
