On Saturday January 24, 2026, Fleet Feet Fort Wayne will be hosting a Community Pantry Ruck Run & Walk as an act of solidarity, not charity. We are asking the community to come together and help fill the Local Forward Indiana Community Pantries with non -perishible Food items and supplies. These community pantries are designed to provide 24/7 access to free food. They are community sustaining and are available for anyone and everyone in need.
For our 3rd annual Community Pantry Ruck Run & Walk we are asking everyone to fill a backpack large or small with non perishable food items and necessities. As a group or individually you will run or walk a course specially designed by Fleet Feet to various Community Food Pantry Locations. You will take 1-2 non-perishable food items out of you backpack and place in the Community Food Pantry. You will then run or walk to the next outside Food Pantry designated on the map and do the same. You will continue to follow the map going to each pantry designated and gradually emptying your backpack of food items.
There will be eight pantries to fill , your backpack should contain approximately 18 non perishable food items ( 2 per community food pantry cabinet)
We will start and finish at Bravas Restaurant 3416 Fairfield Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46807-1823. After the Ruck Run you are welcomed to join us at Bravas for Brunch. FYI, Make sure to bring Extra Cash for the Brunch, Brunch is on you.
We will be awarding prizes and there will be a raffle after the Ruck Run/Walk.
Stay Tuned for Map & Pantry Locations & Distance of Run. We will be posting this shortly.
Finally we will post the Brunch Menu that Bravas will be serving on that day.
