About the Event

On November 28, 2026, runners of all ages and abilities converge at the heart of the park for an unforgettable day of racing. The race begins near the Senior Center, where ample parking is available just steps away from the starting line. Participants can start anytime after 8am in a rolling format that allows flexibility until noon.
The course offers diverse terrain with distinct routes for different distances. Kids tackle a smooth yet hilly trail marked by yellow flags and arrows, crossing one busy crosswalk near the park entrance. The 5k route branches off from the main path into more technical trails, featuring green markers to guide runners through winding paths and rocky sections.
For those seeking an adventure, the 5-mile course presents even greater challenges with red-flagged routes that wind through rugged terrain, including steep hills and rocky stretches. This demanding yet accessible trail is perfect for both beginners looking to test their limits and seasoned runners aiming to push themselves further.
Participants in the endurance-focused 4-hour race follow the same rigorous 5-mile loop but must finish within four hours; any miles completed beyond this mark won't count towards official results. All races utilize Orbiter timing chips, ensuring accurate tracking throughout the day.
The event is part of the TrailFecta series, offering a discount for signing up to run all three events: the F.I.T. Frills on November 28th and two additional holiday-themed races in December. Runners who complete this trio earn a special connecting medal as their reward.
Runners can expect a supportive atmosphere with basic first aid available should any issues arise, though medical professionals are not present at the venue.
